Dr. Berchuck is a practicing oncologist who is actively involved in the surgical chemotherapy management and treatment of women with ovarian, endometrial and lower genital tract cancers. He is the head of the steering committee of the international Ovarian Cancer Association Consortium (OCAC) and a member and Past Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Committee for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF). Dr. Berchuck served as the President of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists in 2008.

Myra Biblowit has served as President of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation since 2001. Under Ms. Biblowit’s leadership, the Foundation has had a 4-Star rating from Charity Navigator for nine consecutive years. The Foundation is a leading funder of clinical and translational research, having raised over $330 million to support an international effort to prevent and cure breast cancer. In 2011-12, 185 clinicians and researchers across the United States, Europe, Canada, Latin America, the Middle East, Australia and China will receive support for their work from BCRF. Ms. Biblowit holds a B.A. from Tufts University and a Master’s in Social Welfare from the Heller School at Brandeis University.

Mr. Bush is former chairman of the Board of The United Negro College Fund and chaired the UNCF Capital Campaign which raised two hundred and eighty million dollars. He is a former board member of The Baltimore Orioles, The Yale Alumni Fund, the Boys Club of New York, Miss Porter’s School and a Finance Chairman of the New York Republican party. A former member of the Board of Yale New Haven Hospital. Mr. Bush served as co-chairman of the Smilow Cancer Hospital Capital Campaign. Mr. Bush holds honorary degrees from Buthune-Cookman College, St. Augustine’s College and Stillman College.

Joseph A. Califano, Jr. is Founder and Chairman of The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse (CASA) at Columbia University, an independent non-profit think/action tank affiliated with Columbia University. He has been Adjunct Professor of Public Health (Health Policy and Management) at Columbia University’s Medical School (Department of Psychiatry) and School of Public Health and is a member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences and the 2010 recipient of the Institute’s prestigious Gustav O. Lienhard Award for his contributions to improving public health.An attorney, from 1965 to 1969 he served as Special Assistant for Domestic Affairs to President Lyndon Johnson and from 1977 to 1979 as Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare in the Carter administration.

Dr. Michael Seiden is a board-certified medical oncologist, who previously led the gynecologic cancer program at Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center and served as chief of the clinical research unit in Massachusetts General Hospital’s Division of Cancer Medicine. Dr. Seiden is active in many professional organizations and serves on national and international committees and advisory boards.
